Dr Swasti Singh, a Family Practitioner with an awesome personality and incredible compassion ensuring her patients always receive the best care.
She has more than 20 years experience, having started practicing medicine in 2001, in both the public and private sectors. This experience spans across many medical fields with a special interest General Medicine, Emergency medicine, Pulmonology, Critical Care, Paediatrics, Geriatrics, Paediatrics pulmonology and Allergies. Integration Medicine and Occupational Health.
Her vivacious and caring nature has made her popular with patients of all age groups. She spends time to understand who her patients are and what their needs are thus assisting them as holistically as possible – this includes follow ups to ensure complete treatment.
So, regardless of whether you are in the Tik Tok, Instagram or Facebook regime or none of these you will enjoy rapport whilst receiving nurturing treatment.

Dr Singh strongly believes that a patient’s health starts with self-care and there is so much we can do for ourselves in this era. She has experience and training in Integrative Medicine, which includes intravenous administration of vitamins and minerals, to help a patient’s overall wellbeing and quality of life. Her latest interest is in NAD+ therapy and Aesthetics. NAD+ IV therapy is used for detoxification in patients with smoking, alcohol and drug addiction, as well as its anti-aging properties!
A little more on her accomplishments and work history:
• In 2011 she obtained her Diploma in Occupational Health at Wits university, which enables her to undertake Occupational health medicals which include general check-ups, lung function testing, ECGs and completion of relevant forms that an employee requires to submit to their employer.
• Served as a frontline worker during the Covid-19 pandemic for two years, working in the Covid-19 ICU and Pulmonology wards at Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital in Durban.
• During the latter part of the Covid-19 pandemic she obtained her Master’s degree in Medical Science from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and, in 2022, she obtained her international certifications for “Return to work and strategies that work” and for “Medico-legal Report Writing and Court Testimonial Skills” –both courses undertook through the American College of Independent Medical Examiners.
Dr Singh’s skills and experience working with specialists in a tertiary hospital enables her to manage all chronic conditions including Asthma, COPD, Diabetes, Hypertension, Asthma, TB, Peptic Ulcer disease, Gastritis, Obesity, TB/HIV and many more specialised auto-immune conditions. She has great understanding and experience in wound care, incision and drainage of abscesses, ear syringing, suturing of wounds and other minor surgical procedures. From her private practice, she is able to administer medicinal drips including intravenous fluids, intravenous iron, electrolyte replacement, antibiotics and so much more.
